The student’s information team
Our young team is available to answer your questions about the city’s history at any time!
In addition to two full-time security guards, 16 students of history and art history now work at the box office and in the supervisory team of Colgne’s History Museum. Thanks to their professional qualifications, our young team may answer your questions with competence.
„Ask me“ is written on the name tags of our info team. We are happy to help! Additionaly our students offer a selection of special themed tours every month.

Work groups I and II
Since 1986, two working groups have supported the projects of the Cologne City Museum. The volunteer members are united by a great interest in Cologne’s history. At their regular meetings, they continue their education through presentations on historical topics as well as through training courses offered by the team of the Cologne City Museum and the Museumsdienst Köln.
During the museum’s opening hours, the members of the working groups regularly offer free guided tours of the museum. The working groups’ guided tours of the city on historical topics are also popular. All dates can be found in the calendar of events.
